Cathedral View is located on a 500 acre family run beef and arable farm in Wells, Somerset. The farm itself has the best of both worlds, one side is beautiful Somerset countryside and the other side is the historic cathedral city of Wells, the bustling high street is just a five minute walk away.   

The Phelps’ have been farming Palace Farm for four generations with the fifth coming on behind. It has historically been a dairy farm until seven years ago when it transitioned to beef and arable after problems with TB. The farm is named Palace Farm due to farming the land around the Bishops Palace, the historic seat of the Bishop of Bath and Wells. 

It has been a dream by the family at Palace Farm to start a glamping site, so they can let the public share their amazing location and stay in the most unique spot in the Wells area.
